Cracked Church
Dark and exquisitely carved arches in the main building of the Church.
Shafts of light from the ceiling make visible a small water source running through the rutted ground of the Church. Mirela Volaj snaps a photo of the intricately carved ceilings.
Candles cast light and the only heat of the stone-cold chapel.
Entrances to some of the chapels above the main Church building are carved right into the mountains.
...And the door will be opened.

I had the great honor to spend this Christmas with a fantastic family in the United Arab Emirates. The Hillman family took me in as one of their own sons and we had a lot of fun slacklining, sandboarding (like snowboarding except on sand dunes), and checking out the world’s tallest building – the Burj Khalifa. Check out some pics from my visit. Thanks for a great time!
